![]() Richard Shaw: VP, Director of Fitness Development & InstructorRichard began his personal training career in a small boxing gym in Savannah, GA. He received his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Master's degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University. He also attended the Atlanta School of Massage and incorporates therapeutic massage into his personal training business. His main focus as a trainer is improving flexibility and correcting muscular imbalances for his clients. Richard is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is certified in Group Exercise through AFAA and holds the ACPT certification as well. He has played a variety of sports, including football, rugby, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. He also enjoys competing in distance races and triathlons. |
![]() Bri Shrier: Team Member & InstructorBri is a Marine Biologist imported from the Seattle area with a passion for extreme travel, outdoor adventure and running adventure races. Her driven involvement in physical activity started at a young age with skiing, hiking, competitive fastpitch, and scuba diving. She started teaching Group Fitness while pursuing her undergraduate degree, and has over 10 years of experience in fitness instruction. While working as a Biologist for USFWS/NOAA she got to travel and train in many gyms across the country. Bri has a deep passion for adventure travel and spent years studying in France and traveling Europe, Australia, Asia and Central America. Bri is also currently a PADI Divemaster, and teaches people to scuba dive on the weekends. She holds many fitness certifications including a CPT certification, TRX Suspension Training, CrossFit, Spencer Pilates, Hot Yoga, Nesta Sport Yoga, BodyPump, BodyFlow, BodyJam, BodyStep, and YogaFit. |
![]() Hillary King: Director of Nutrition & InstructorBeginning with gymnastics, soccer, track & field, and softball, Hillary has participated in sports and fitness since a young age. She later went on to play collegiate soccer at Liberty University. Upon transferring to Johnson and Wales University, Hillary shifted her focus to nutrition, studied to become a classically-trained chef, and earned a degree in Culinary Arts & Nutrition. Hillary expanded her knowledge of fitness and the human body by attending the National Personal Training Institute where she received specialized training in nutrition, and earned a diploma in health and fitness. Prior to joining the BLAST900 Team, she applied her education at Lifetime Fitness in Alpharetta, GA, gaining experience as a class instructor, personal trainer, metabolic technician and nutrition counselor. |
